Description of the engines:
I want to introduce our newly developed Technology "Air-Trailer / GyroDrone". The GyroDrone is a USTOL Ultra Short Takeoff and Landing with exceptional Payload Capacity. Longer Rotary-Wing Flight Endurance, with good Safety measures in the event of a Loss of Power it can Land without any Power in an area the Span of its Rotor Blade with Little or no Rollout after Landing.
AirTrailer is an autogyro glider towed by a manned aircraft or drone and cannot over-run the towing aircraft.
The Rotor Blades are powered by the Forward Movement of the tow vehicle which creates air pressure (i.e. Lift) beneath the Rotor Blades to keep the AirTrailer aloft.
AirTrailer is mechanically simple (i.e. no transmission) and is a proven technology.
AirTrailer is a very cost-effective solution for remote cargo delivery.
No Transmission or Tail Rotor results in No Power or Torque being applied to the Rotor Blades.
A Low Power Pre-Rotator System is used to Spin the Rotor on the Ground to Execute Very Short Takeoffs and Landings with Near Zero Roll (VSTAL).
On May 5, 2010 the FAA declared that the UCAG (Unmanned Cargo Autogyro Glider), Commercially known as AirTrailer, Is Not an Aircraft and Is Not an Unmanned Aircraft and therefore Does Not require aircraft certification or special authorization to fly in Civil Airspace.
Per FAA letter dated June 29, 2010, the FAA assigned the UCAG to 14 CFR 91.311 flight regulations, commonly referred to as the Banner Towing regulation.
