The DA50 RG is powered by a Continental CD-300 Centurion 3.0, a turbocharged 300 HP Jet-A1 engine controlled via a FADEC system with Single-Lever Power Control. The engine features a TBO of 2,000 hours or 12 years and is renowned for its operational efficiency.
The three-blade MTV-12-D/210-56 MT propeller delivers excellent efficiency, smooth operation, and reduced noise levels.

Following a runway overrun in 2022, the aircraft was properly inspected and repaired where required. All work was carried out by Diamond Aircraft Industries GmbH, Austria, between April and June 2022.

Propeller ground strike
Nose Landing Gear (NLG) strut broken
Nose Landing Gear (NLG) and Main Landing Gear (MLG) doors damaged
A complete inspection, replacement and/or repair of all affected components was performed. Additionally, a shock load inspection was conducted in accordance with Continental specifications.
